ADEN, June 9, 2018 (News Wires) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will resume its humanitarian work in Yemen only after it gets guarantees from all the conflicting parties to provide needed protection to its staff, said the ICRC spokesman in the violence-hit Arab country Adnan Hizam.

In statements to the US-funded Radio Sawa on Saturday, Hizam said that the ICRC received many threats over the last phase, thus, work in Yemen was suspended temporarily.

Earlier, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has pulled 71 staff members out of Yemen due to a series of incidents and threats.
