Egyptian parks ready to receive citizens during Eidul Adha
CAIRO, August 17, 2018 (MENA) - Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Animal, Fisheries and Poultry Affairs Mona Mehrez asserted that all preparations have been finalized at the ministry's affiliate parks to receive citizens celebrating Eidul Adha.
In statements to MENA on Friday, Mehrez said that the ministry has outlined a detailed plan to address the overcrowding and deal with possible emergencies.
Parks will open their doors to the citizens in the early hours of Tuesday, the first day of Eidul Adha.
Large quantities of rotten meat, poultry and fish, which are unfit for human consumption, have been seized during the last period nationwide, Mehrez noted.
The Agriculture Ministry spares no effort to control the markets, she said.
She stressed the importance of maintaining coordination among governors to facilitate slaughtering services at the governmental abattoirs.
