7,267 pilgrims of civil societies traveled to Saudi Arabia so far
CAIRO, August 10, 2018 (MENA) - About 3,472 pilgrims of civil societies have flown to Saudi Arabia so far to perform Hajj rituals this year, Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali said.
In press statements, Wali explained that 5,114 pilgrims have arrived in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca, while 2,153 others arrived in Saudi Arabia's Medina.
The minister underlined that 1,165 pilgrims have left Borg El Arab International Airport heading to Medina, while 521 others departed Luxor International Airport for the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.
As many as 500 pilgrims have left Cairo International Airport heading for Jeddah, she added.
