EGX30 ends in red
CAIRO, July 12, 2018 - The Egyptian Exchange ended Thursday session in the red, driven by local and Arab investment fund and institutions sell-offs.
The benchmark EGX30 declined 0.46 per cent to close at 15,879.81 points.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 dropped 0.58 per cent at 775.10 points, and the broader index EGX100 went down 0.37 per cent closing at 1,990.09 points.
Market capitalisation lost about LE500 million, to close at LE889.9 billion, compared to LE889.40 billion in Wednesday’s session.
Foreign investors were net buyers, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers.
